Produced by Gorskaya-Hartwick Productions, a US-based company.

World Ballet Series is proud to present a multinational cast of dancers, meticulously cast from the best ballet institutions of Europe, Japan, the UK, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, and more.

Principal Dancer Ekaterina Malkovich, who performs the role of Cinderella, is an accomplished and acclaimed ballerina, the winner of the Golden Mask Theatre Award. Starting as the Prince is the invited soloist – the rising star of classical ballet Leonardo Celegato.

The company will also showcase a new generation of dancers, featuring a stunning performance by Angelina Zgurskaya in the role of Stepmother, the unforgettable technique of Kyunsoon Park in pas-des-trois in Swan Lake, and the most amazing Mother Ginger of all – Rebecca Nervi.

Ekaterina Malkovich is a seasoned ballet professional, the first soloist of the World Ballet Series. A former star of Yekaterinburg Opera and Ballet Theater, she has gradually gained international recognition and received multiple awards and nominations. Malkovich has been nominated twice for The Golden Mask Theatre Award (2017, 2018) for best female performance in a ballet for “Romeo and Juliet” (directed by Vyacheslav Samodurov) and “Naiad and the Fisherman” (directed by Yuri Burlak). She is a Laureate of the International Competition of Choreographic Educational Institutions “Orleu”.

Our shows are accompanied with scores by the greatest composers transporting and immersing our Patrons into the marvelous world of Cinderella. Our experienced sound engineers make sure to provide the audience with the best sound for the show, although as a touring ballet company we can not accommodate a live orchestra for the time being.

The show is suitable for all ages. Not only those interested in ballet and theater are going to enjoy the show. However, the WBS team recommends to bring children of the age of 3 and older.

Cinderella is a world-class fairy tale that has established itself as a global family-friendly benchmark, so it’s a perfect match for those with young children as it has no age limit at all, but not too young as the powerful Prokofiev’s score might sound too loud for them.

This is totally up to you! If you feel like dressing up for the occasion – there is no better time than a classical ballet performance. We see a lot of Patrons in formal attire at our shows. If you want to wear something more informal and comfortable – go for it! Don’t worry, you won’t be alone and we will make sure you enjoy yourself no matter what you wear.

Rest assured, you absolutely don’t have to keep in mind the whole Cinderella story to fully understand what is going on. Upon arrival to the venue, you will be able to scan the QR code with the digital program on the information stands displayed in the lobby. Brochures are designed for you to brush up on the story plot and it has a timeline of what and when is happening on stage in case you are worried about losing the thread of the story.

Our intermission usually lasts 20 minutes. During this time you can stop by a concession stand and select from the menu offered by the performing arts center, visit our merch store with branded t-shirts, brochures, and many ballet-themed memorabilia. You will also have a wonderful opportunity to have a photo taken with one of the characters! With so much to do, our only hope is you make it back to your seat in time for Act 2!

We kindly ask that our Patrons enjoy snacks and beverages they purchase at the concession stand while in the lobby. Only water is allowed inside the auditorium.

In order to avoid lines at the entrance, we suggest arriving at least 30 minutes before the show.
